01 · Einleitung
Schloss Leopoldskron war nie ein Museum – es war immer ein Ort des Lebens und der Ideen, gestaltet von den Menschen, die hier gelebt, gearbeitet und gedacht haben.
Von den frühen Sammlungen bis zur heutigen künstlerischen Produktion ist das Schloss ein Ort lebendiger kreativer Auseinandersetzung.
Diese Tradition setzt sich auch heute in einem wechselnden Programm aus Ausstellungen und kulturellen Formaten fort, das zeitgenössische Stimmen mit Geschichte und Ort in Dialog bringt.
Von Installationen bis zu temporären Ausstellungen begegnet man Kunst im gesamten Schloss und Meierhof als etwas Gegenwärtigem und sich Entwickelndem – mit der Vergangenheit verbunden und auf die Gegenwart gerichtet.
